CoolSculpting

Non-surgical fat reduction

What is CoolSculpting

The CoolSculpting fat-freezing procedure is a non-surgical fat-reduction treatment that uses controlled cooling to eliminate stubborn fat that resists all efforts through diet and exercise. The results are proven, noticeable, and lastingso youll look great from every angle*.

Fat cells freeze at higher temperatures than surrounding tissues. CoolSculpting technology enables us to precisely target fat cells beneath the skin, and cool them to temperatures that trigger their natural death. This process, known as Cryolipolysis, results in the treated fat cells becoming crystallized (frozen). The fats crystallize faster than normal cells and there is no damage to skin, nerves or other surrounding tissue. Over time, as the treated fat cells shrink and die, your body naturally metabolizes them, eliminating these dead cells, and leaving a more sculpted you.

What areas can CoolSculpting treat?

  • Stomach/abdomen
  • Love handles/flanks
  • Under the neck (double chin)
  • Back/bra area
  • Thighs
  • Male chest (Pseudogynecomastia)

How does the CoolSculpting treatment work?

During your treatment, a gel pad and applicator are applied to targeted areas for applicators that use vacuum action. The surface skin and fat are pulled into the applicator, similar to if you pinched a section of your skin and lightly pulled. You may feel pulling, tugging and mild pinching.

Controlled cooling is then delivered to the targeted fat, so you may feel a cooling effect. Afterwards, patients are able to return to normal activities with minimal downtime.
