Hyperhidrosis (Excessive Sweating)

Focal Injections has proven to be an effective treatment option for heavy sweating.

A series of injections to underarms, palms or bottoms of feet, works by preventing the release of a chemical that signals the sweat glands to activate. There are several important things to understand about focal injection treatments for hyperhidrosis. First, it is a temporary treatment. The procedure must be repeated periodically to maintain results. Second, treatment with focal injections will not mean that sweat gets “backed up” or goes elsewhere. Instead, sweat is not produced at all in the treated areas while the rest of your body sweats as usual.

Melasma
